The Prescott Fire Department and Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority, as well as the Prescott National Forest, are enacting Stage One fire restrictions beginning Friday, May 30th at 8 a.m. due to increasing wildfire risk.
The restrictions cover the City of Prescott and surrounding communities, including Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, and Paulden. They also apply to all national forest lands, roads, and trails within Prescott’s boundaries.
Conrad Jackson, the Wildfire Risk Management Supervisor for Prescott Fire Department, tells The News:
Jackson says the restrictions will remain in place until weather conditions improve.
