The honors continue to rain down on Bella Mantini. The Embry-Riddle golfer was named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association NAIA All-Freshmen Team. In her debut season, Mantini was the Great Southwest Athletic Conference individual champion and finished 49th at the national tournament. She was also the winner of the Embry-Riddle Fall Invitational and placed seventh at the West Coast Classic. Last Saturday, Mantini was named the KYCA/Tri-City Sports Roundup #2 Local Freshman of the Year.
Also making the All-Freshmen Team were Sophia Sinderersberger of Keiser University, who finished seventh at the national tournament and was named the WGCA Freshman of the Year; Dalton State’s Tylah James, who was an NAIA All-American and finished seventh at the Southern States Athletic Conference Championship; SCAD Savannah’s Yunyi Luo, the Sun Conference Freshman of the Year; and Pitchayapa Pungpho of Lindsey Wilson College, who was voted the Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year.
