Protecting the environment earned the Prescott Public Works a nice honor. The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality gave the Airport Water Reclamation Facility a Bronze Award for the Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program.
According to ADEQ officials, the award is given to those who have, “A good history of environmental compliance and strive to go beyond what is legally required to protect public health and the environment.”
The Bronze level recognizes facilities that do not have any violations on record with any environmental regulatory agency and have maintained compliance for three years.
