Two Injured in Semi Crash in Bumble Bee

Two people suffered severe but non-life-threatening injuries when they were ejected from their semi-truck during a crash along I-17 in Yavapai County.

Department of Public Safety officials report the semi was traveling down the interstate at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was unable to stop and rolled over the side of the road and slid into a rock wall at the Bumble Bee off-ramp. Neither person in the semi was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash.

DPS officials urge everyone to wear their seatbelt when traveling and to always be mindful of your speed.
