Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man who tried to break into two homes in the Village of Oak Creek. YCSO officials report around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, a person called 911 saying they observed on a security camera a man in a black mask trying to break into their home. He fled the scene before deputies could arrive.
A short time later, the owner of another home just a mile away called 911 to report someone smashed a window and tried to get inside. The homeowner fled to a neighbor’s house. A deputy arrived shortly after and found the 28-year-old suspect in a running car. The suspect drove off, but was stopped by the deputy a short time later and arrested.
