The Coconino National Forest is implementing Stage Two fire restrictions Wednesday. This means no campfires or cooking fires are allowed. Smoking outside is also prohibited.
Matt McGrath, the Flagstaff District Ranger, says:
The Coconino National Forest does extend into Yavapai County, covering Sedona, Rimrock, Camp Verde, and Cottonwood. As for the Prescott National Forest, it is still in Stage One fire restrictions.
