Fire crews are still battling the Juniper Fire burning in the Bradshaw Mountains, about 3 to 4 miles south of Horse Thief Basin Lake. The fire is estimated at 600 acres and is not threatening structures at this time. The fire is 60 percent contained.
The SET status for Horse Thief Basin has been lifted by the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.
The public is urged to avoid the area.
