The design concept plans for the Highway 89 improvement project will be discussed by the Prescott City Council at its study session Tuesday. The council also hears a request to name the horseshoe courts at Watson Lake Park. The meeting begins at 1 p.m.
Then at 3 p.m., the voting meeting takes place. The City Council hears an appeal for the proposed hotel on Whiskey Row. The plan calls for the demolition of three buildings in order to construct a four-story, 47-room boutique hotel.
Other agenda items include a five million dollar contract for the pavement preservation project on Highway 89 and Prescott Lakes Parkway; a 494-thousand dollar contract for the Bradshaw Drive guardrail project; the final plat for the 37-unit Senator Cottages off Senator Highway; and a 475-thousand dollar contract for a PFAS remediation study.
Both meetings take place in City Council Chambers at 201 North Montezuma Street.
