The Prescott Valley Police Department is helping parents keep kids safe on the road with a free car seat check event this Saturday.
It runs from 8 to 11 a.m. at Park Collective, located at 7450 East Pav Way.
Certified technicians will inspect car seats and booster seats to make sure they’re properly installed and not expired or damaged. The drive-through event takes about 20 to 30 minutes per car.
If a seat is found to be broken or expired, staff will replace it on the spot.
