Two Injured in Car Crash in Dewey

Two people were injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 169 near milepost two.


Units from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority responded to the scene just after 10 a.m. Fire personnel found both vehicles with heavy damage, each carrying one occupant. One of the vehicles had rolled over.


One person suffered severe injuries, prompting a Native Air helicopter to transport the patient to a level one trauma center. The second patient was taken by Copperstate Ambulance to Yavapai Regional Medical Center East.


Their current conditions are not known.
