The City of Prescott has planned a celebration of life for former Mayor and Yavapai County Supervisor Rowle Simmons. It takes place July 19th at 2 p.m. at American Lutheran Church, with a reception to follow at the Rowle P. Simmons Community Center.
Simmons passed away on January 28th at the age of 78. He moved to Prescott in 1977 and served as mayor from 2001 to 2007. He was later elected to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors in 2012.
In lieu of flowers, the Simmons family requests donations to the Yavapai County Humane Society, which Rowle Simmons supported during his life.
