The City of Prescott has opened a 60-day public comment period for the State Route 89 improvement project.
At Tuesday’s council meeting, the city hosted the first two study sessions and released new materials online, including a full project update, traffic impact analysis, and three roadway alternatives. All of it is available now at sr89improvements.com, where residents can also submit feedback.
Here’s a look at what’s next for the Highway 89 project:
- July 18th – Public comments will be posted online
- August 26th – The city will hold a second study session and public hearing
- September 5th – Comments will be updated again on the project website
- September 9th – A second public hearing will be held and the comment period will officially close.
