The Arizona Department of Transportation is warning drivers to expect overnight lane restrictions on Highway 89 in Chino Valley this week. Pavement work will reduce the highway to one lane in each direction from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Wednesday morning.
The restrictions are in place between the Highway 89A junction and Perkinsville Road. Speed limits in the work zone will be lowered to 45 miles per hour.
ADOT is urging motorists to slow down and use extra caution while traveling through the area at night. You should also plan for minor delays and consider alternate routes if possible.
