Don’t Let Your Pets Start a Fire

Pet owners don’t only have to worry about their dogs or cats damaging furniture or clothing — they also have to worry about them starting a fire. Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority officials say pets accidentally start around one thousand fires every year in the U.S. They urge pet owners to keep their dogs and cats away from stoves, candles, electrical cords, and other heat sources.
