The first day of school comes early this year. Students in Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Chino Valley return to class Thursday.

Local law enforcement agencies are reminding drivers to be extra alert as more children and teens will be out and about during the morning and afternoon. Also, be mindful of reduced speeds in school zones and stop for school buses when their lights are flashing.
