The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is getting a financial boost for investigations into serious traffic collisions. Sheriff’s Office officials say they were awarded a grant by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to support the work of the Vehicular Crimes Unit.
This grant will allow YCSO to investigate crashes that result in injury or death in as much detail as possible. Funds will cover overtime for investigators, crash reconstruction software, and more.
