Drivers traveling through Paulden can expect lane restrictions on Highway 89 starting August 10th. That’s when crews will begin a new safety project.
ADOT officials say the 2.2 million dollar project will add a new two-way center turn lane between Bramble Drive and Big Chino Road. Work will take place Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
Related work includes paving, erosion control, and installing pipe culverts. Drivers should expect minimal delays and are urged to slow down and stay alert in the work zone.
The project should be finished in late fall.
