This weekend, the Jim and Linda Lee Performing Arts Center, on the Yavapai College Prescott campus, will host the 37th annual Cowboy Poets Gathering. The gathering takes place Thursday through Saturday.
Prescott Mayor Phill Goode says the event represents the true spirit of Prescott. Officials with the event say the primary purpose of the event is to preserve the culture, traditions, and history of cowboy poetry and music.
