Yet another road work project has started on Highway 69. ADOT crews are working on a new safety project between Lee Boulevard and Walker Road in Prescott. The work includes a new raised median, roadway widening, pavement replacement, and erosion control.
Construction takes place weekdays from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. One lane will stay open in each direction, with minimal delays expected. However, the westbound turn lane near Costco will be closed during work hours. Drivers can use Walker Road to access businesses in that area.
ADOT encourages drivers to slow down and use caution in the work zone.
The project should be finished by late fall.
