An improvement project is set to begin on Prescott Lakes Parkway next week. Work takes place between Highway 89 and Highway 69 from August 18 through September 12. Asphalt milling and preparation runs August 18 through the 22, followed by a two-step pavement preservation application from August 25 to September 5. Roadway striping will be completed September 8 through the 12.
Work hours are 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some night work possible. Drivers can expect flagging operations, lane restrictions, temporary street closures, reduced speeds, and travel delays.
