Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority crews responded to a structure fire on Rancho Vista Drive in Prescott Valley Sunday night. The blaze broke out in the garage just before 8:30 p.m. Firefighters quickly got the fire under control and kept it from spreading to the main house.
Two people were inside the home at the time and got out safely with their pets. One adult suffered minor burns but was treated on scene and did not need hospitalization.
The Arizona Crisis Team and American Red Cross were called in to provide support to the family. No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
