Fire crews are getting a handle on the Woods Fire burning near the Village of Oak Creek. At last report, the blaze was 59 acres in size and 75 percent contained. Several parts of the Village of Oak Creek were on set status for evacuation, but that has been lifted.
The blaze started last Wednesday from a lightning strike. There are 23 personnel assigned to the Woods Fire.
