It’s another week of overnight lane restrictions on I-17 through Yavapai County. The interstate between Bumble Bee Road and Black Canyon City will be reduced to one lane starting at either 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. and lasting until either 6 a.m. or 7 a.m. through Saturday.
Most of the lane restrictions this week will occur in the southbound lanes. The restrictions are needed to accommodate pavement work, concrete work, and equipment removal. Anyone traveling along this part of the interstate should allow for extra time to reach their destination and be alert for construction personnel and equipment.
This is part of the I-17 improvement project, which should be completed later this year.
