A home in a rural part of Prescott caught fire Thursday morning. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office reports crews from the Prescott Fire Department, Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority, and Groom Creek Fire District responded to the scene on Old Miner Road and brought the fire under control.
Damage to the home is reported to be extensive. Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to other structures and nearby vegetation.
