John Feddema Officially Named CAFMA Chief

The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority has made it official. John Feddema is the new chief. He had been serving as the interim chief since last September when Scott Freitag was removed from that position by the agency’s fire board. The move came shortly after a no-confidence vote by the local firefighters union.

In a release from CAFMA, Feddema said, “My goal is to support our organization in building a strong foundation to serve the community, while creating sustainable progress that supports our personnel and our mission.”
