All the rain over the past few days has put the Tri-City area at less of a risk for a wildfire.
Prescott Fire Department Wildfire Risk Manager Conrad Jackson tells The News:
But Tiffany Davila with the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management says the relief will be short-lived because the rains came so late in the summer.
The fire danger in the Prescott National Forest is high. It had fluctuated between very high and extreme for the past month.
