Tuesday was a damp day for Yavapai County.
According to the County Flood Control District, Prescott Valley received 1.14 inches of rain. Granite Basin got three-quarters of an inch of rain. Mayer had 0.67 inches. Cottonwood received 0.59 inches. Mingus Mountain, Kirkland, and Sedona all got just over a half-inch of rain. Sierra Prieta and Seligman both had 0.39 inches. Outer Loop Road received 0.35 inches. Ash Fork got 0.31 inches. Cordes Junction had just under a quarter-inch of rain. Chino Valley and Big Bug Mesa both received 0.20 inches. Thumb Butte, Prescott Heights, and Bagdad all got 0.16 inches. Downtown Prescott, Watson Lake, Goldwater Lake, White Spar Campground, and Black Canyon City all had 0.12 inches. Pine Ridge Marketplace, Williamson Valley Road, and Yarnell all received 0.08 inches, and Lynx Lake and Camp Verde both got 0.04 inches of rain.
Expect more rain to fall on the Tri-City area today as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 50-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
