The Prescott Regional Airport will request a change in airport hangar rates at the Prescott City Council’s September 9th meeting. Hangar fees are currently charged as a flat monthly rate. The requested change would transition the fees to a tiered, square foot rate structure, based on unique conditions, rehabilitation status, and size.
City officials say the requested change is a result of the fiscal year 26 citywide fee schedule. They say airport officials found that a new approach to hangar fees is required to properly implement the plan. If approved, the new rates will take effect 30 days after approval.
