PHS Boys Golf Overpowers Flagstaff in Four-Way Match Win

The rain stayed away from the Prescott Country Club Tuesday, allowing the Prescott and Bradshaw Mountain boys golf teams to get in their multi-meet with Flagstaff and Mingus. It ultimately came down to two teams, with the Badgers and Eagles neck and neck all day. In the end, Prescott pulled out the win with a team score of 160 to Flag’s 167. Bradshaw shot a 191 and Mingus ended up with a 247.

The Badgers’ Jackson Carr was the medalist with a 38. Also for Prescott, Eli Tharp tied for second with a 39 and Burley Johnson tied for third with a 41. Jayden Perea was fourth with a 42. Tying for fifth was Bradshaw’s Kolton Pratt with a 43. The Badgers’ Tyler Blanchard finished tied for sixth with a 44.

Prescott is off until next Tuesday when they host Bradshaw Mountain and Coconino at Antelope Hills.
