Prescott Man Arrested After Standoff with Police

A 65-year-old man is in custody after a standoff with Prescott police. According to reports, Jeffery Lindbolm allegedly walked into a home in the 2000 block of Ponderosa Lane on Monday, armed with a handgun. The homeowners managed to escape and call 911.

Prescott police say Lindbolm barricaded himself inside, refusing to come out despite negotiations. After several hours, the SWAT team was called in. Using advanced technology, officers determined Lindbolm had isolated himself in a bathroom.

Police entered the home and used non-lethal means to take him into custody. Lindbolm was first taken to a hospital for evaluation before being booked into Yavapai County Jail. He now faces charges of burglary, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
