The Yavapai County government will lift all of its fire restrictions. The county-wide fire ban ends Friday morning at 8 a.m. The decision comes following recent monsoon activity and the lower risk for wildfires in the area.
Residents are still urged to check with their local municipalities and fire districts for specific regulations that may apply to their area.
In addition, officials with the Prescott and Coconino National Forests, as well as the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management, announced they also plan to lift their fire restrictions.
