For the first time in several months, the fire danger in the Prescott National Forest is low. Throughout the summer, the fire danger has fluctuated from high to extreme.
Because of the low fire danger, the forest, Yavapai County, the Prescott Fire Department, and the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority will lift all fire restrictions Friday at 8 a.m.
Even with the low fire danger, everyone is reminded to always exercise caution with anything that can produce a flame or a spark to avoid starting a wildfire.
