One man died in a house fire in Cordes Lakes Saturday. According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, just before 6 p.m., deputies responded to a house fire in Cordes Lakes. When they arrived, they were informed by a woman that her 37-year-old stepson was still inside the residence. The man was unable to escape and was later found deceased within the home.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Foul play is not suspected. The identity of the victim has not been released.
