Double check any frozen burrito bowl blends in your freezer, because they may be subject to a recall. Yavapai County Community Health Services reports the One Frozen Company is voluntarily recalling Good and Gather Southwest-Style Burrito Bowl Blend because the product may contain shrimp that is not listed on the label.
The frozen 12-ounce bags were sold in Target stores starting April 17th. The recalled burrito bowl blend has a best-if-used-by date of August 24th, 2026.
The company says three consumer complaints led to the recall. No illnesses have been reported. Those with shellfish allergies risk a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat the product.
If you have these burrito bowl blends, do not eat them. Either throw them out or return them to the store where you purchased them from for a refund.
