Former Paulden Resident Arrested on Child Porn Charges

A former resident of Paulden was arrested for possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, detectives learned of the material being downloaded by a possible suspect in April of this year. They soon discovered the person had recently moved from the Paulden area to Flagstaff to attend Northern Arizona University.

The Sheriff’s Office worked with personnel from other agencies to locate the suspect. As a result of the multi-agency effort, investigators served a search warrant in Flagstaff, where several electronic devices were seized. Detectives discovered numerous videos containing images of child sexual abuse, and learned the suspect distributed the material to others.

This past Monday, detectives arrested 18-year-old Cooper Rade. He was booked on several felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
