Prescott Valley Town Clerk Fatima Fernandez earned the Master Municipal Clerk designation from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. The title is reserved for clerks who complete rigorous education requirements and demonstrate outstanding service to their communities.
Fernandez was also the winner of the Young Professionals category at the Prescott Area Athena Leadership Awards banquet last Friday.
A graduate of Bradshaw Mountain High and NAU, Fernandez began her government career in 2015. She was appointed town clerk in 2020.
