City of Prescott officials say overwatering is a more common problem than many realize. They say overwatering is a root cause of water waste, especially when an irrigation system applies water faster than it can be absorbed. Overwatering can result in wasted water, unhealthy plants, and higher water bills.
City officials also remind residents daytime water restrictions are in place until November 1st. All spray and airborne irrigation should only be used between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.
