ERAU Earns FAA Approval for Air Traffic Training Program

The Federal Aviation Administration has officially approved the Air Traffic Management program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for its Enhanced Air Traffic-Collegiate Training Initiative. That makes Embry-Riddle the first university in Arizona to receive this designation.

The program puts qualified graduates on a direct path to FAA control towers for on-the-job training, which will boost the number of certified air traffic controllers across the country.

University officials say this milestone demonstrates their commitment to safety in the skies and to meeting the growing demand for trained air traffic professionals.
