On Monday, the Prescott volleyball team got off to a slow start in set number one, but overcame their struggles to win it, then go on to sweep Mingus. Tuesday, the Lady Badgers again were a bit shaky in the first set, and it cost them as they lost to Thunderbird 28-26. Prescott recovered in the second set and dropped T-Bird 25-13. After that, it was a back-and-forth match, but Prescott pulled it out with 26-24 wins in sets three and four to take the match 3-1.
Bella Abt notched 20 kills. “The Gem” Ruby Jensen posted 17 kills and six digs. Libby Hlavacek garnered 20 digs. Kate Wright and Keagan Greenwell both recorded 20 assists. Jade Furr tallied seven kills. Aubrey Black made 16 digs.
Prescott is now 5-0 in its power point matches. They host Mohave tomorrow.
