Former YC Soccer Coach Mike Pantalione to Enter Italian-American HOF

He’s already in quite a few halls of fame. Now, Mike Pantalione will be part of another. The former Yavapai College men’s soccer coach has been voted into the National Italian-American Sports Hall of Fame.

Pantalione started the YC men’s soccer program in 1989 and retired in 2021. During that time, he went 636-63-30, making him the winningest coach in junior college history. The Roughriders also made it to 19 Final Fours and won seven junior college national championships under Pantalione’s leadership.
