The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority and the Prescott Fire Department worked together to extinguish a home fire in Prescott Valley Wednesday near Hoffman Road and Ackland Drive. At 4:10 p.m., crews responded to the mobile home to find the structure fully engulfed. CAFMA officials report three occupants evacuated prior to the arrival of firefighters. They were transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
The fire did affect surrounding buildings, but it was quickly contained by firefighters, resulting in minimal damage. Fire officials say the residents are receiving assistance from the Arizona Crisis Team, as well as the Red Cross of Arizona.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
