Prescott area State Representative Quang Nguyen has been named Legislator of the Year by the Second Amendment Foundation. The award was presented last Saturday at the 40th Gun Rights Policy Conference in Salt Lake City.
Nguyen, who chairs the House Judiciary Committee, was recognized for his leadership in defending Second Amendment rights. SAF Founder Alan Gottlieb called Nguyen a “principled and tireless” advocate who not only votes to protect gun rights, but leads from the front.
Nguyen says he’s grateful for the recognition and vowed to continue defending the Constitution and Arizonans’ rights to self-defense.
