PVPD Offers Home Security Assessment

The Prescott Valley Police Department is reminding residents to secure their homes this holiday season. The department is offering free home security assessments through its Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design program—known as CPTED.

Police officials say with the holidays just around the corner, homes can be more vulnerable to crime. Prescott Valley residents can schedule an appointment to have a certified officer visit their home and evaluate its security.

After the assessment, homeowners receive personalized recommendations, like upgrading outdoor lighting or adjusting landscaping to boost safety.

To book a free home assessment, contact Crime Prevention Officers Tim Langford or Ian Thulin at 928-772-5166.
