Local scoreboard from the weekend, in soccer, for the guys, Yavapai College got edged out by Arizona Western 3-2. Judah Levy and Rashaad Powery were the goal scorers for the Roughriders. Embry-Riddle got blanked by The Master’s 2-0.
For the ladies, Yavapai College got shutout by Arizona Western 1-0. Embry-Riddle took care of The Master’s 2-0. Aubre Dupre made seven saves.
In volleyball, Embry-Riddle lost to Ottawa 3-0. Brooke Eglinton notched ten kills. Mayer fell to Ash Fork 3-0.
In cross country, at the ACU Invitational, the Embry-Riddle men and women both placed first. Individually, Dillon Eisner and Sophia Noriega both finished first. At the Glendale Showcase, the Chino Valley girls finished tenth, with Eliana Metz coming in 29th. Prescott’s Micah Hickman finished fourth in the boys freshmen race.
Swimming, at the Craig Cummins Invitational, the Prescott girls finished seventh and the boys were ninth.
