BMHS Volleyball Tames Lee Williams

School may not be in session this week, but the Bradshaw Mountain volleyball team was still in action. They spent day one of fall break in Kingman, taking on Lee Williams. Both teams put up a heck of a fight in set one, with the Lady Bears coming out on top 25-20. Bradshaw built up a more comfortable lead in set two and won 25-18. But in set three, the Lady Volunteers turned it up a notch and battled all the way till the end. The Lady Bears, however, eked out the win 25-22 to take the match in a 3-0 sweep Monday.

Mackenzie Proffer recorded 34 assists. Mackenzie Strader tallied 18 kills. Emma Johnson garnered 13 kills and ten digs. Annie Platt made 12 digs.

Bradshaw Mountain is now 9-8 in its power point matches. The Lady Bears are off till next Tuesday when they travel to Cottonwood to take on Mingus.
