PHS Girls Golf with Just One Player for Monday Match

This week is fall break for the local high schools, which means the rosters for quite a few teams are depleted. That was the case for the Prescott girls golf team. They had a three-way meet in Scottsdale Monday, but only one player made the trip down there to face Saguaro and Arizona College Prep. Sophomore Carolynn Westerman hit the green, and did a good job as the Lady Badgers solo representative. She shot a 44, tying her for third place.

Prescott has just one more match on the regular season schedule. That takes place next Wednesday at Antelope Hills Golf Course versus Mingus and Kingman. After that, the Lady Badgers will host the Grand Canyon Section tournament. That will take place on October 20th, the same day as the Prescott boys golf team hosts the Northwest Section tournament.
