One man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Crown King Road. Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office officials say the crash happened Tuesday just before noon.
Deputies responded to reports of a vehicle going off the road and plummeting down a 100-foot embankment. Personnel from the Crown King Fire Department confirmed the driver, a 38-year-old man, was the only occupant of the vehicle and died at the scene.
Authorities say the driver was wearing a seatbelt, and there was no immediate evidence of impairment. Family members say he was last seen on Sunday in Cordes Lakes. The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the crash.
