HWY 89 Work, Rodeo Grounds Money on Prescott City Council Agenda

How to use 15 million dollars in state money for improvements to the rodeo grounds is on the agenda for Tuesday’s Prescott City Council study session. A discussion on the city’s strategic plan is also scheduled. That gets underway at 1 p.m.

Then at 3 p.m., the voting meeting begins. A public hearing takes place regarding the pipeline improvements along Highway 89. The council also considers a one million dollar contract with Arrington Watkins Architects for the design of a new police evidence storage facility. Another agenda item concerns rezones on Ruth Street and Dameron Drive to accommodate new facilities for West Yavapai Guidance Clinic.

Both meetings take place in City Council Chambers at 201 North Montezuma Street.
