The City of Prescott may be in some legal trouble concerning the recent appointment of Patrick Grady to the city council.
Attorney Ryan Heath, who is representing Sherri Hanna, a finalist for the council seat eventually given to Grady, addressed the city council at its meeting Tuesday:
The potential lawsuit stems from allegations that Grady was improperly appointed to the council in May to fill the seat vacated by Cathey Rusing, who resigned in order to run for mayor in the primary election.
