A Prescott man is in custody, facing multiple charges after allegedly threatening to shoot two people while brandishing a handgun outside a local business.
Forty-year-old Nathan Miller was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Yavapai County Jail. He’s charged with felony disorderly conduct and misdemeanor threats
According to the Prescott Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance at a business located at 3655 Crossings Drive. Witnesses reported that Miller, while still in his vehicle, displayed a firearm and threatened to shoot two individuals outside the office.
After making the threats, police say he entered the business on foot. Responding officers evacuated all employees and patients from the building while securing the area.
Miller remained inside the lobby but eventually exited the building on his own and was taken into custody without incident. A handgun was later recovered from his vehicle, which was parked near the entrance.
No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
The investigation is still active, and police have not released additional details on a motive or the relationship between Miller and the victims.
